In 2010 I bought property in West Corners across the road from my family’s for of 53 years. On my property, I needed a couple of very tall trees taken down. We had called several different tree service companies. As one would expect it wouldn’t be cheap. Then somehow we got in contact with Tom at CNY Tree. Tom came over to give us an estimate to bring the trees down. He had mentioned that his grandmother lived in the area and he offered should take both trees down for free, yes for free. His kindness was very much appreciated. He showed up with his guys, equipped with everything they would need. They literally climbed the tree I’m starting at the top taking down limbs one by one as they lower themselves down the tree. Then when the tree was ready to be taken down oh, it landed exactly where Tom said it would land. CNY Tree Service was beyond generous. CNY did a great job, cutting up the tree branches, cleaning up after themselves. The crew along with Tom the owner were punctual, professional, cautious and paid particular attention to their safety and the safety of others and the surrounding homes, they were friendly and polite. Not because CNY took down my trees for free of charge but because of the above-mentioned words describing their performance. Very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend CNY Tree Service to anyone that is in need of tree service.
Had a phenomenal experience with Tim, Tom, and the crew. Their team took down over a dozen ten story plus white and red pines (and a few maples) in our yard in Vestal. Like another reviewer, we had several companies decline our job because of the tight space between the houses and an incline that needed the right equipment to get up. We’ve used two other tree services throughout the years and the CNY team was not only the most reasonably priced quote we received to take down such a large volume of trees, but they did it in two days, were respectful of our neighbors, of our house, of our young children (didn’t ring the doorbell when they needed to touch base in case the kiddos were napping, were friendly), etc. We could go on and on but bottom line is they had the best price for a job with space limitations, they worked hard, and they worked with integrity. This is a family run business and they deserve the positive reviews they have.
Very happy & pleased with CNY — received fast estimate (very next day !!) for tree removal & scheduled removal approx 10 days which was amazing since weather/windy conditions lately. The team was great — very considerate of neighbors & us and did wonderful job with removal of the tree. They cleaned up great — you would not have known that they had even been in driveway/ road with chipper & other equipment. Definitely would recommend CNY to anyone who needs tree removal in future.
Tom and his team preformed the most amazing job at my elderly mother’s home. They went way above and beyond the scope of work that was originally priced. I would recommend there services to anyone looking for tree and stump removal. There price was better than fair!!!

If you’re looking for a reliable tree service, I highly recommend CNY Tree Service. I recently had them cut down trees and remove fallen ones, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their work. The team was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable.
Tom was fast to give a quote. His work team was kind, prompt and nice to deal with. Their equipment was top notch and so much fun to watch them work with the claw! Best yet, they did a very thorough cleaning of the area and even tidied the street and neighbors.
CNY has provide service to me for many years. Most recently I need a small amount of work completed. CNY was quick to provide the estimate. And just as quick to complete the work. This is just as always with them. In the past they were just as responsive removing a tree that had fallen on my truck. This is why I only call CNY!
We had 4 100′ pine trees fall during a storm. CNY was out within 24 hours of agreeing to terms and cleared up all 4 trees in 1.5 hours. Excellent work, was very impressed. Cannot beat the pricing either. Thank you.

Tom and his crew came out and did an amazing job removing 2 very large trees by our pool, and a few other smaller surrounding trees. They ground everything up and had it all removed in just a few hours, you wouldn’t even know they were there. We highly recommend CNY!

Wow! Removal of multiple trees, very large and difficult to access. More than one vendor declined to bid because of the degree of difficulty. CNY Tree Service had the right equipment and cohesive crew teamwork to safely take down these trees and remove all the debris in under three hours. Highly recommended!
They came out the same evening a storm knocked a tree over to dangle precariously over our house. Got the hazard out of the way immediately, finished taking out the rest the next day. They were able to do that with out harming our fence & shed, which were in the way. Left the yard looking nice. Friendly people, Great to work with-
